Paddling Memberships at West Lakes Canoe Club run from 1 July to 30 June. If you have never had a paddling membership before and you join up from 1 January then pro-rata rates apply.

Family Memberships are available – there is a 30% discount off Paddle Australia, State Paddle Association membership fees and club fees for families.
Minimum of 3 family members. Maximum of two members 18 years and over. Total Cost depends on the number and types of memberships.
– Membership Benefits and Entitlements
There are various programs to provide access to qualified coaching, either through West Lakes Canoe Club or Paddle SA.
As a financial member you will have:
Club key for access 24×7;
Clubroom facilities include kitchen, toilets, showers and changerooms, as well as secure storage;
Access to club equipment (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, paddles, PFDs);
Storage for your own private canoe or kayak by arrangement. This will depend on whether a boat rack is available, and the size of your boat allows for storage within the rack system in the boat shed;
Insurance Cover for fire and theft for your boat if you are a fully financial member of the club and have been allocated a boat rack;
Opportunity to participate in organised events & trips;
Transport and insurance cover of your boat to/at/from events;
24/7 personal accident insurance*

Ability to enter Club, State and National events
Access to pathways and opportunities to be selected in State and National representative teams and development squads
Attend and vote at all annual and special general meetings (for Senior, Junior, Concession and WLCC Life Members).
Use of club boats – Adult and Concession members
Use of club boats under the supervision of a club coach or instructor, or their parent/guardian, when on the water – Junior
Juniors Under 14 must wear a PFD when on the water – Junior
Juniors Under 12 must wear a PFD and have a responsible adult (parent/guardian) stay at the water-side (or on-water in the vicinity) whenever their child is on the water – Junior
